Five facts

Engelsk. The five facts i find interesting.
The first fact i found interesting is African American males accounted for 47% of all homicide victims. They make up 6% of the entire US population. I think it’s terrible that out of so meny people is African American represents 47%.

The second fact i found interesting is In 1998, women Were 100 times more liekly to be murdered With a handgun than use a handgun to kill in self defence. It’s crazy that it change so fast, the world is a wired place.

The third fact i found interesting is The firearm death rate for African American was more than twice that of Whites. I think that the Americans dont like the African Americans ore African American just make to much trouble.

The fourth fact i found interesting is There Were, on average, more than 30.000 death from guns voilence each year during the 1990s. Every year the average increases With 30.000 death from guns. it is not necessary.

Answer of the qestions to the movie.

1) What is happening in the video? Explain  the situation.
There is a black man who is a part of the neighborhood crimewatch. He aims at two men in suits. He says that they shall give him their watch and wallet. One of the men says that the only problem he has is that he is black. The man also says that it will be weird if there in the headlines is going to be ''black guy kills bigshot'' and that is'nt good when they are trying to get a black man as a president.


2) Who are the three people in the video?
The black man is a part of the neighborhood crimewatch and the two others are bigshot.
(That's the only thing i could hear)

3) What do you think this short movie wants to tell us?
I think the movie will tell us that it's okay you dont like every person, but if you hurt them it there might be consequences for somebody else. And maybe it will tell us that each color thinks they are the man of the world and think they can decide what is going to happen in life. And that can cause problems.

4) Who is right and hwo is wrong, do you think?
I think they are both wrong. Because they think they can decide everything and can do whatever they want. If i should pick one of them i would pick ''bigshot'' because it's right what he says about the headlines and the president. But that he shoots the black man after he have given him the wallet and the watch, that is'nt fair.

Questions for the debate ''Guns in america''

1. The moderator Lisa's first question to the members of the debate is: Why do people own guns?　
Write down what Andrea, Maxwell, and Jessica believe is the reason for this.　

Andrea:
Means that people sometimes say that they only have a gun to hunting and for sport, but she also think that they have them to pretekt them selfs.

Maxwell:She think that wemen have a gun because they are scared and with the gun they feel more powerfull. Wemen feel powerless when they walk on the in the dark at night.

2. Jessica says that many Americans want to have a gun because of the media and films. Do you agree with Jessica? Why? Why not?
Actually i dont no. I cant understand why they feel they need a gun. And anyway i do. If there is so meny problems with people who attack innocent, I understand they feel safe with a gun, but it doesent seems right. It schold'nt be necessary to have a gun to feel safe.
But anyways I also think i have something to do with the media and films. I think that they believe in what happens in the movies, and think that are going to happen for them.

3. Rhajik talks a lot about the military when he is talking about guns. What does he say about the military and their need and use of guns?

If no one would be willing to own a gun, we would not have a truly effective military. He think it's okay they military have a gun, becuse they using them to protect the country.

4. Maxwell names some facts about guns. Name at least one of them. Comment on the fact.

2,3 millions are getting killedt every year because of the gun. It's crazy, i did'nt know that there were so meny hwo getting killedt, and every year!. But still it cant surprise anyone. If so meny have a gun, someone will shute when they get scared, also if it was'nt purposely.

5. Maxwell says that the reason why criminals have guns is because the citizens are armed. Do you think that is right? How do you think it is in Denmark?

There is also criminals in Denmark hwo own guns, but i dont no why they do it. I do not think it is equally distributed in Denmark as in America. People do not just have a gun to protect themselves it is'nt necessary.

6. What does Andrea think should be changed in America's gun law?

I did'nd understand any of it. She does'nt speak particularly clearly.

7. Rhajik says that power should be returned to the people, the individual. It should be totally legal to own guns. No one should rule. We should be responsible for our own lives. What do you think about this?

I think it's true that we schould be responsible for our own lives, but it would be diffecult to do that if it allowed to have guns. A girl/boy on 8 yars old can't be responsible for he's/her life. They can not defend them selves. So i dont think it should be legal to own guns.

8. In the end of the dabte, all the debate members are asked to say in short what they think about guns. Choose at least two of the members and write down their opinion.
Andrea is against guns. If it were up to her, should no one have a gun and remove all those guns there is in the world. But when that's not realistic, should the people hwo own a gun learn have to use it. We need to cut down the number of people hwo have guns, so there is'nt that meny hwo dies because of it.

Jessica and Andrea are agree with each other. When they say the will show people how to use a gun it is'nt how to pull the trigger. We have to show them the conseqences.

9. Lisa ends the debate by giving the Americans an advice about guns. What does she say?

If you decide to use a gun, then think about it before you let your passions getting away because a gun become excuse for not thinking on things and so on. whatever you think guns are a good thing ore a bad thing, then just remember to think of yourself.

10. Who do you agree with the most of the five members of the debate and why?

There is to. That will be Andrea and Jessica. They mean almost the same and they have the same attitude to it as I have. They will not have guns in the world because it only get trouble.  

He think that meny are afride for alot of things. For eksempel a black mann around the corner, be a dad and so on. Menn with small pineses buy a gun to be more maskulin. So thats why meny Americans buy a gun.

In my holiday I was in Italy with my best friend Pernille and my father.
We should be on a hotel call'ed Valbella. Pernille, my sister and I should sleep together,
and in our room was there a big closet ): some wiould say it's every girl's dream to have a big closet, but not that closet. The first night we were sleeping there had Pernille and I a scary dream. We were dreaming about a girl call'ed Sarah. The next day were we dreaming about her again and we could describe her. She was a girl about 10-12 years old, had long brown hair, bangs and small eyes. Sometimes we saw her infront of us.
Over our bed hang a chandelier, with some plastic bricks. Every night some of them were moving, but not the last three days. There were also a night where it sounded like someone were playing with fingers in the closet. We never opened the closet.
